When she’s not busy practicing and improving her skills on the flute, she loves to enjoy California sunshine and try new places to eat around LA. In addition to her primary studies at UCLA, she has also attended the summer academy in Nice, France where she studied with Vincent Lucas and Julien Beaudiment.
In high school, she was a winner of California Youth Symphony’s senior concerto competition, and she performed the first movement of Nielsen’s flute concerto with the orchestra in May 2019. She also spent two summers studying in the beautiful Berkshires (2018, 2019) at Boston University Tanglewood Institute where she attended the flute workshop and performed with the Young Artist Wind Ensemble.
